Energy Share of Wyoming
Energy Share of Wyoming is a nonprofit, statewide program that assists Wyoming families with energy-related emergencies when all other forms of assistance have been exhausted. Energy Share of Wyoming is a partnership with individuals and organizations that represent senior citizens, Wyoming utilities, churches and groups who serve the disabled. First priority goes to Wyoming residents who are at or above 185 percent of the federal poverty level. Funding decisions are made by the Salvation Army, which reviews applicants’ eligibility. The program begins on December 1, and applications are available after this date at local Salvation Army offices. The program will continue until the end of May or until funds are exhausted.
