High Efficiency Space Heating and Water Heating

Program Description
This program offers rebates to Cheyenne Light residential customers when they replace existing natural gas tank water heaters with high-efficiency models or when they install high-efficiency natural gas tank water heaters in new single-family dwellings. Rebates are also available for the installation of natural gas tankless water heaters and high-efficiency natural gas furnaces and boilers.

Eligible Measures
A high-efficiency residential natural gas water heater must have an Energy Factor greater than or equal to 0.64. Any tankless water heater with an EF greater than or equal to 0.84 that replaces a natural gas tank water heater also qualifies for a rebate.

Space heating measures that qualify for the program are residential natural gas furnaces with a minimum Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency of 92 percent and residential natural gas boilers with a minimum AFUE of 85 percent.

Electric High Efficiency Water Heating

Program Description
This program offers rebates to Cheyenne Light residential customers when they replace existing electric water heaters with high-efficiency models or when they install high-efficiency electric heaters in new single-family dwellings.

Eligible Measures
A high-efficiency residential electric tank water heater requires an EF greater than or equal to 0.94.
